Lifestyle held an interactive session with their key business reps in Guangzhou,China. In the meeting, key business representative of LS introduced the new initiatives and process in order to meet their customer’s quality standards,to reduce lead time and to ensure compliance of products in line with the regional regulations and legalities. Below are the detailed agenda:
1.Overview of Lifestyle Concept
Developing from the first store in 1998 in Fujairah,UAE,to 200 stores this year,LS process more than 200 stores in 10 countries,having over 2500 of employees now.
2.Product Lifecycle Management ( PLM)
The purpose of PLM is to achieve Internal and External Real-Time online Collaboration via Web;to reduce the lead time and gain efficiency;and to align or standardize business processes.
3.Supply Chain Process Analysis
From the SCP Analysis Progress Report,we can see that it rise continuously through the five months from 25% in June,to 73% in 15th October.
4.Bar-code and Pricing at Source
Since LS deal with various products which have different sizes and shapes,they had to develop three different sizes of labels ( XS / SM / Large )in order to accommodate different products category,.So we need to select the appropriate label based on our products.
5.Operational / Inbound Shipments Challenges
For an order,we need to pay attention to below issues to close the order smoothly and successfully:
Carton / Item Bar code issues
Carton Marking issues
Carton Quality Issues
